THE DPA TOOLKIT
The DPA Toolkit is a useful collection of documents to assist in understanding, and meeting the requirements of the Data Protection Act. Each item included is tried and trusted in a substantial number of organizations.
The toolkit is shipped in two formats: PDF and RTF. The latter is provided for those organizations which wish to import the documents to MS-Word or similar (for editing or for adding additional elements for example). It comprises:
- A task list... essentially what you need to do
- A policy statement... for governence purposes
- A compliance questionnaire... to help you to fully comply
- A checklist... to help you audit against the DPA requirements
- A beginners guide... for both staff awareness and general information
The toolkit is designed specifically to help you tackle a complex piece of legislation as easily as possible. It should help you gain the assurance you need for this mandatory requirement.
